About
Graduate Women’s Group
The Graduate Women's Group is the only program at UM devoted solely to addressing the concerns of graduate women. The GWG was established in 2006 in response to an overwhelming demand for campus resources that would address graduate women's personal, social, and academic needs.
We are supported in part by the Graduate Student Council and the Sarah Isom Center for Women. The group is self-led and sponsors a range of activities and programs. GWG brings together graduate women from a broad range of disciplines to facilitate discussion on their research or efforts in the community, and functions as an advocate for graduate women's concerns.
